Armor is expensive (5000$ x10) compared to snacks, it also seems useless to buy everytime from what I've seen. As it wears off with a few shots even with maxed Strength skill and is NOT affected by the heavy utility suit in the heists either.
You can actually takes 5 times the damage on health before you die compared to armor (assuming you're rank 100+). Snacks recover a bunch of health (Meteorite & Ego chaser 25-30% while P's n Q's 10%) and you can carry from 10 to 20 of each. You just have to cover/sprint/be in a vehicle to gain a faster effect.
Also it's wise to use a Bulletproof helmet together with the Kevlar as it seems to protect from headshots, both Player and NPC damage (up to 3 shots before dying)
I would take the armor anyday rather than being able to sprint
Just keep jumping for more speed.
I wonder if the armor/"slower speed" would cause issues if going for the challenges that hinges on you beating a heist in less than X minutes.
Yeah, but 4 dudes jumping all over the place with no air-control since it's not Mario 64 could mess up the timing :P
That is just cosmetic
