But if the music has been licensed for use in-game, that wouldn't make a lot of sense, would it?
Ride into the danger zone!
I used "Fortunate Son" from the Editor's selection and Youtube forbade my video from being viewed in Germany. =P
I make chairs.....and I want to charge every ass that sits in it.
And the GEMA are a special case anyways...
Carry on wayward son is being used by one of the biggest shows right now and in my mind it would make sense for the show to allow usage of that song just for promotional usage, because everyone knows that song from that show.
To give some advice if you want to make money of your GTA 5 Youtube video's, don't use any of the non Rockstar made songs, use the in game scores for it, that's fine.
There is a lot of good royalty free music on the internet and most of the biggest Youtubers use that music, or ask a musician friend to make some music for you, even the most simple tunes can be effective for video's :)
