Sounds like real life. Maybe that's the point?
Just to be an obnoxious ♥♥♥♥?
Lamar is a bumbling fool wannabe gangster who gets them into stupid trouble. His girlfriend left him for a doctor or something. He lives with his aunt who wants him out of the house. He's down on his luck, and its your job as the player to help him break through to something bigger.
I think in a way she is the one who made him decide to be more than a gang-
banging thug like Lamar and move up in the world.
Without her dropping him, and her reasons for doing so, I don't think Franklin would have seen the light and gotten out of the gang life.
She is there as a subtle reminder of what he could have if he straightens up, and Lamar is there as a reminder of where he is headed if he stays as he is.
But Stretch could have told me that, honestly. Why is it her, of all people, that brings this news to me? It was part of a gang beef, and she wasn't even involved in CGF at the time.
