Thermal scope not working ON missions?

hi,
so during the mission where I had to kill the o'neil brothers the thermal scope became for the first time available but now on that mission where trevor crashes the trains the thermal scope suddenly refuses to work!

I'm not using the default key bindings but already tried to change the key for 'Toggle Weapon Accessory" without success!

Any ideas?

I didn't have that problem myself, but I remember seeing at least one other thread about this recently. Might be a bug.

the weird thing is that it's zooming in what shouldn't happen due to the fact that the key bindings menu doesn't allow double assignments of keys..

I found the problem!

YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO HOLD! THE RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON + Toggle Weapon Accessory

Jesus Christ, do they play test these mechanics? I was scoped in, told to turn thermal on, pressed the key, accidentally unscoped and now when i rescope thermal wont activate even after multiple key reassignments.

It's not a bug. Make sure you use the correct weapon. Like a sniper.

nah, it's cool. Just hold right mouse button b4 toggle weapon accessory..

Okay yeah, they messed up. I have toggle scope activated, so I can't really hold down scope to press E. That was the issue, and the prompt does not indicate that you need to hold down scope whatsoever.
