Why does it take so long to fill up a heist lobby?
I mean for gods sake, there are 400k people on average playing this game anytime of the day and it takes an average of 20 min or maybe more to fill up a heist lobby? really rockstar?
very well done job....

Do you guys also having the same issue, and is there any solution to this beside having friends?

Yes it's clearly rockstars fault that most people playing this game are nerdraging morons? Get real.

It's simply not WORTH the headache to do random heists. All it takes is one dumbass leaving the heist for <reasons> and you're ♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Heist with friends; solved.

Are you at the end of the heist? From my experience people just want to do the end. It's annoying.

Two things, basically.

1. People don't really like to join Set ups.
2. Your lobby will fill in a manner of seconds when you get a Finale going, everyone's onto the cash.

Also, the hassle of playing with strangers, Heists require alot of communication and, well, it's hard to communicate with people who may not even speak your own language or don't even have a decent mic.

The problem isn't really on Rockstar, simply put, almost no one wants to play random heist setups. The pay is crap, and often you fail out anyways due to some moron not knowing what to do.

If it was a matchmaking issue, you'd think that it would also be difficult to get a full lobby for other gamemodes or for heist finales, but this couldnt be further from the truth.

How is the payout for setups "bad"? Most pay 25k or so for very little time/effort. A helluva lot faster than contact missions for example. Yeah, some take a bit longer, but most are very fast and fun.

Like for example stealing the EMP. It's really fun when you fly in formation at the end with "danger zone" playing. Ofc you have to be old enough to remember top gun. :)

Don't be one of those people, Some people actually don't have friends to play with on GTA Online. Sometimes we just have to deal with randoms who are god awful. Also OP, It's because there are so many other set-ups and heists. I get a invite to one every 10 seconds so of course it'll take awhile.

I can make 10-13K every four minutes doing contact missions. Some of which are guaranteed success given I can solo them. The problem with most heist setups is that they take way over 10-15 minutes to complete, and often come with the risk of failure and restarts. In addition, the sheer wait time for people to join a lobby makes them idiotic to do simply for the money.

Not say heists in general aren't worth doing. But just doing setups as a random join? It makes absolutely no sense. I only do them if I know who I am playing with, and assuming it will lead to the finale where we all get a substantial score.

Thats because good players are playing with friends.
Seems like you are not a good player then.

Where did you come up with that conclusion? That makes no sense. If someone has friends that automatically makes them a good player? Even if they fail the most basic tasks in the game they're a good player if they are playing with friends?

I havent played any heists missions, because my onine is not stable yet. I get crashes on regular missions, would be worst on heist.. dont really want people to think i exited early, the shame is to much, so i rather not touch it until the onlie is stable for me.

Funny story: Sometimes I am the moron not knowing what to do - that's because I'm not 15 anymore, actually have a job in real life and occasionaly do something else than playing games. Even if some of you might not be able to grasp the concept of that: Being totally awesome at video games isn't really my main goal in life.

In that case I find it extremly helpful if the other guys just put random insults in the chat (so far I've rarely met people using headsets, and if they did, they usually spoke a language I can only identify as something from eastern Europe) - of course way more helpful than just telling me what to do or how to do it better. Or just basically coordinating anything at all and not silently expect everyone to have 200+ hours into that game and/or having played that specific heist or mission before.

Don't get me wrong: I'm not f*cking around, I'm surely not the worst player on the planet and I take this stuff rather serious because I don't want to spoil the fun for everyone else. But it just doesn't f*cking help if I accidentialy crash into another car while driving and someone shouts: "MAAAAAAN, F*******CK YOU, YOU SUUUUUUUUUUUCK!!!!!" OK, yeah, maybe I suck. Maybe you're better than me (Hint: Those with the most insulting comments are usually not). If that bothers you, don't f*cking play with strangers.

But I gotta say, so far 90% of missions, heists and heist setups I did with complete strangers were surprisingly fun and successful. Of course you'll fail a couple of times, but if you find some decent people, who won't immediately start insulting everyone like a 12-year-old d*ckhead and/or leave after the first failure, you can just talk about what went wrong and how to do it better on the next try. That's how it's meant to be and that's how it usually works pretty well.

The EMP setup is the one setup I will always join. It's just too much fun!

Because you won't actually invite all of them who are online, there's 'pool of players' where your invite goes and that pool is small.
