This makes a HUGE difference. Also you gain 20HP every 20 levels, which makes an even larger difference. So just like an RPG leveling will make you more durable.
On another note. Learn the inventory in your head so you can run/drive while accessing your inventory to eat snacks/equip armor.
1. being able to heal in your house, when you drink that green stuff perhaps? (This isn't unbalanced, when your car gets inta healed)
2. Set quick GPS to take you to a nearby vending machine.
Plus a third I just thought of again, 911 call, spend maybe $100 for full health.
