DS4 Tool (InputMapper)

Hey guys, I'm using my PS4 controller when I play GTA V and I always have Netflix, youtube or other apps running on my PS4 at the same time, so I can watch Family Guy or something while I'm waiting 2 hours in the loading screens (lol). But the thing is, I cannot use the controller on the PS4 if it's connected to my computer, so I need to disconnect it, to remove the "Are you still watching..." pop-up on Netflix.

But when I plug it in the computer again, I can't use the controller because it says that DS4/InputMapper isn't running in Exclusive mode (which I always use when I start the program) and then I have to close GTA, close Steam and close Teamspeak 3, just so I can plug in the controller again ..

Does anyone have the same problem as me? And do you know how to fix it? I'm buying a second PS4 controller but not atm since I spent my last money on GTA V this month.

I wouldn't use DS4Tool.... Pretty sure the best thing for Dual Shock 4 is DS4Windows ds4windows.com

That's what I use and I think PC Gamer recommended it also at one point. I'm sure it will fix your issue as well.

I can understand your familiarity with your PS4 controller -i have had a PS3 for a lot of years now, but as for PC gaming i have had an Xbox PC controller plugged in permanently for the past near 2 1/2 years. (despite not owning an Xbox) Now, you can take my comments with a pinch of salt, it works perfectly with ALL my games that use it. Arma 3, Watchdogs etc,etc inc GTAV -i have it on PC via Rockstar. In GTAV i'm driving and jumping out in either FPS mode or what i set it to and it remembers what my preferences are; smooth as silk compaired to the mouse?
I can also just pick up my mouse/keyboard (whilst it's plugged in) and they work without issue in games or are toggeld in options.

Read the Q/A on the Amazon page in the link. I honestly don't find any difference between PS3 and XBox controllers other than finger placement.
