Impromptu races not working, multiple issues.

Just posting because I am having a lot of bugs with the Impromptu race feature online for PC. I never had issues with impromptu racing on PS4, but on PC I can't finish one at all. Here are the issues myself (and another friend) are having:

• Once invite to friend/player is accepted, race and yellow GPS line only start/appear for one player
  
• If a racer is killed by another player or car crash during race, other players left in race cannot finish or quit race, and have to restart the game entirely
  
• Race never starts for either player, but yellow GPS line shows up.
  
• When one player passes another and takes a higher position, player in lower race position is kicked from race and other players get the "[player name] has left the race" message (THIS ONE HAPPENS 99% of the time).

Anyone else having issues with the impromptu race feature? Anyone know if there is anything we can do to correct this? is a patch needed?

Like I said, I have played GTA online on PS3, transferred to PS4, and never had a single issue with this feature. After transferring to PC, out of a counted 44 tries, I have never had an impromptu race work correctly. I'd like to see a solution to this, as for me and my local online friends this is was our favorite feature.

The button is grey, why is this happening?

Hell if I know, I posted this nearly a year agom and I never got an answer.

So my boyfriend and I just had this problem, the button was greyed out and he couldn't race another player.. he went into the "Los Santos Customs", then came back out and the option was no longer grey. YMMV
