Lost GTA V serial key on steam

I bought GTA V on steam the other day, but registered it on the wrong social club account, I asked for the account to be deleted, stupidily enough, and later that day it was removed. Which means I've also lost the game, since the code is used, the game is unusable, can I refund my code? I cannot buy a new copy on steam, as they do not allow me to, which means I'm sitting here with an useless 60 gigabyte game which can't be played.

Steam Library -> Right Click on GTA V -> Show Productkey or something -> Copy it and try activating again.

There is nothing to do. Only Rockstar support could help you

Well to start off.

Your 'key' for GTA V is automatically registered on Steam with whatever social club account you log in with to play. There is no need to use it. You should of requested to have them transfer to the license to another Social Club account, but the game does warn you when you first start it up if you are sure this is the account you want to link.
