Merryweather Heist not starting

Hey everyone,

I am quite frustrated because in singleplayer I can't start the Merryweather Heist in the port. I read a lot of posts from people with the same problem, but without a solution. I made every possible mission (even Maude's bounty missions, Tonya's missions and Barry's weed missions) and even completed the flight school, but nothing happens.

I was also roaming around for two hours, but no call, no message, nothing. I don't want to start all over again so help is very appreciated.

Yeah I went there, completed the assault rifle in gold.

Hello,

I had the same problem much later in the game, in short: you are screwed.
This usually means your save file got corrupted or it not triggering new missions anymore, you will have to start over from a previous savegame (hopefully you have one).

I noticed that this kind of situation can happen if I finished a story mission and leave the game before the next phonecall/text/whatever that triggers the next step has happened.

I lost about 10-12 hours of solo game because of this bug....
Just keep many different saves in different slots from now on.

Happened to me, If your talking about the one where you have to get the sub, The mission appeared to me after an hour of random stuff with trevor. Switching to online and returning to trevor fixed it for my friend who had the same problem

I haven't had this problem but after u are done with the flight school and shooting range switch to trevor and ull get a phone call. That's what happened to me atleast

The problem for me was I hadn't done any FIB missions. Go to the blue B with Michael and that gets things rolling again.
