How to report Cheaters in GTAV-ONLINE
While in-game
Press ESC
Go to
-Online
-Players
Then, select the player in questions name. Select REPORT and confirm as CHEATER.

Once thats done, if you really want to make sure they are looked into and dealt with. You can record them from your apartment from the TV, from spectate mode. Sometimes you caint if the player disabled SPECTATE(which makes them more suspicious), then go out and face them 1on1 and catch them in the act red handed.

When you gathered your evidence:
- Upload to youtube.com as UNLISTED
- Email- GTAOnlineBanhammer@rockstargames.com

They will respond back with:
1. Your Name:
2. Your E-mail:
3. Name of Cheater:
4. Platform:
5. Game:
6. Description of Abuse:
7. Video/Screenshot Proving the Player in Question is Cheating:

Once that's all done, you get an email with a request #1234567
Go on Twitter and tweet them that # so they can look into ASAP!
Sit back and feel good that you are helping make GTA-Online Cheater free.

Best desktop recorder I use is ShadowPlay from Geforece Experience
http://www.geforce.com/geforce-experience/shadowplay

Please feel free to Sticky this if needed. It would be really helpful for anyone new to the game and not familiar with the report feature in the game.

Why even bother reply? Do you cheat also in Online?
Is it really THAT hard to send one e-mail to get a cheater banned from online?
Regardless im sure they will patch cheaters and ban them anyways.

Why do the innocent players (who just want to play the game) have to do so much work, and jump through so many hoops, just to police Rockstar's game for them? Most of what you listed isn't even possible for most situations involving cheating. It's not just sending one email, it's the mass of extra work (spectating, video recording, uploading, twitter, etc) that is unreasonable, especially when people just want to enjoy the game that they paid for. Who has time for all of that nonsense? I barely have time to play the game itself, much less police the game against cheaters.

Today i was in passive mode looking for a friend heist invite and a guy shot me with a rifle, depositing 40k on my account per shot. Then he took over my controls after I left the session and joined the private heist. Sure, I reported all of this to Rockstar via that email, but I've got no proof except the million dollars of cheater money the hacker pushed on me. He probably won't even get banned. I certainly couldn't get a video or screenshot of it, I can't even take video on 3x surround without FPS going through the floor.

Whatever. Hopefully Rockstar fixes my problem (no response as of yet) and bans the jackhole cheater, but considering his account looked fake anyway I doubt that it will do any good. Hopefully they have some anti-cheat tricks up their sleeve for the future, because I really don't have time to deal with this stupidity.
