gta 5 alt tab fix

OLD WAY THERE HAS BEEN A PATCH LONG AGO THAT FIXED EVERYTHING!!!!!
SOME PEOPLE STILL SEEM NOT TO READ HAHAHAHA!!!

I finally found the alt tab fix for gta 5, It is a little work arround but here is what worked for me:

You need to instal scripthook for gta 5 wich can be downloaded under mods at gtainside.com.
What you want to do then is download this mod http://www.gtainside.com/en/download.php?do=detail&cat=602&start=0&id=72200&orderBy= once that mod is installed together with scripthook it actually worked for me.

The problem that causes gta 5 to crash when alt tab is because the gta v launcher is crashing without you knowing.
When alt tab and the game needs the launcher to run els gta 5 freezes!

So this solution actually made my launcher keep running probally cause gta5 has to load the mods aside the launcher so it might be a pilar under the launcher that patches some how the launcher up for as long you keep running those mods.

You do notice a slow game startup but once playing no problems no lag no crash when alt tab this fix is a potential fix for normal crashes to cause the launcher might crash after a while playing to for some people.

Uhm...wtf?

Installing stupid bullshitty mods because alt+tab does not work?

Just open task manager, right click on GTAV and select "Switch to"

uhm that fix doesnt work for everyone never did for me and i can now just alt tab without task manager and those mods actually make the game better one is a graphical mod that makes gta 5 even sharper so first think then comment cause not for everyone that didnt work cause the launcher crashed in background without the launcher when you try anyway back in no matter how the game crashes cause the reason the launcher crashed with me is when alt tab out next time read!!

I have no mod but I can't alt tab, when I do it and try to get back to the game the screen is black and then I get stuck. The good thing is, steam overlay works great and social club too.

i aint alt tabbing or anything else,shouldnt have to and i did try it and i did nothing to improve things.

The sharper mods improves by making everything sharper.

But thats not where its about is your launcher running after alt tab?
So when going to task manager in processes it should gave a launcher running and gta 5.

O and ingame try pressing the pause/break key to activate the sharper mod.

might ofcourse not work for anyone cause it worked for me but the problem i had was caused by the launcher sometimes it didnt sign me in and crashing with alt tab since i installed these mods i didnt had those problems again.

Or just use Alt + Enter, and play in window mode, I do, makes it easier for livestreaming.. I don't crash anyway, just al+tab is messy..

Exactly, why do so many people overlook just switching to windowed mode, never fails, although alt+tab never does for me anyway.

not really the game needs launcher to run so if it crashes by alt tab or alt enter or anyway then its gonna freeze

thats a diffrent problem launcher crashes it wil freeze no matter if it crashes on alt enter or alt tab it crashes and freezes

Installing ♥♥♥♥ just to alt tab seem a bit excessive since you can do it by alt+enter or alt+tab and switch to option to come back. People wonder why they get banned all the time.

For those having problems when they ALT+Tab out and can't go back in the game, press ESC ingame to get the map shown and then ALT+Tab out. This way i am able to ALT+Tab back into the game, if i don't use this step i can't go back into the game even if it is still shown in the taskbar. I hope it works for some of you.

first of all these mods dont change anything with the gameplay second it worked for me now the launcher wont crash and dude alt tab is needed because people on skype or steam can chat with you

that maybe work for you but i can now alt tab whenever i want this fix is the only thing that worked for me no other fix did and there are alot of people with that problem like i said the game needs the launcher to run cause thats the social club login
