Pay twice?

hello, i own this game already, but i'd also like it for PC. but now i have to pay for it again? another 60 bucks? is there a way to only pay for the upgrade? because it's not fair to pay full price again when i own the licence to this already.

well i heard you can get the xbox one version for only 10 bucks or so as an upgrade. but i don't care for xbox one. i want it on pc. how do i get this 10$ upgrade on pc? i mean i own the game already, i just want to install it on pc. that's all. and since the new version is better i understand them charging you something for it. but i won't pay full price again.

well yea i could sell my old game, but that's kind of stupid, since i won't know how much moeny i will get for it in the end. and i think it's totally not fair to give people a discount on one platform but not on the other one? i mean they made SO much money with that game, and yet they still charge people twice? that's just as bad as bizzards 40$ diablo 3 DLC.

They are not charging people twice.
They are selling the game on a different platform.
If you chose to buy it on console, that was your decision, not their.
If you want to buy it on PC, again, that is your decision, not theirs.
They are a business. Not a charity.

Well I bought a car in America. The car company should then sell me the same car for cheaper in Australia because I already bought one before.

I have not bought the game on consoles because I was waiting for the PC version.

they are charging people twice. i have the game already. so i should be able to have it on any platform i want. i own the licence. and i should be able to do whatever i want to do with it.
making people pay twice full price for only a better version is a RIP OFF. they made enough money so they could sit their asses together and think "hmm maybe we should give them a discount on pc aswell and NOT ONLY on console" it's a rip off, and if you think any different then you're a tool.

- nobody is making you buy it on PC - you could be happy with what you have

You could always trade it in for a discount on the PC version, a few places do that. But if you want 2 versions to exist in the world at once, then yeah you need to pay again, other wise you could be playing on PC while someone else is playing your 360 version and if you only paid once then that makes no sense does it?

i OWN the CORE game already! why don't you get it? i DO NOT want to buy the same game again. and ONLY want to buy the updated visuals and features ffs!
but it's either: you buy the entire game twice, or you buy a new ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ one or gaystation 4 just to get the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 50$ discount. but you won't get it on PC. makes perfect sense.

You only own a copy of the console-version, not the PC-version. If they would remaster this game in a few years, you MIGHT have the chance to buy the remaster at a reduced price....
but then again:
If you bought a movie on DVD, you don't automatically have the option to rebuy the same movie on BLU-Ray for "upgrade prices" ;)

You own the copy you bought (barley). Basically a rental till the servers go down.

well i better ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ should get a discount for blu ray's aswell if i own the movie already. but the movie industry is a pile of ♥♥♥♥ anyway.
