Yea yea yea, Shuhei Yoshida and Phil Spencer flew in Scotland where R* HQ is located, with bags full of cash and begged them to delay the PC version as much as possible.

LOL

You conspiracy theorists always give me a good laughs, keem coming!

just what i think, maybe R* get a % from ps and xbox sales in those 2 months....

No, Rockstar is actually making money for doing this because more people will want to buy the next gen console version because the PC is delayed, and when the PC version comes out (January 27th) we will also buy that. Probably Sony and Microsoft offered them some extra cash aswell so I call it 100% profit.

They are selling the same damn game 3 times. (That is a great damn business model)

The reason the PC version is coming out last is the same reason it comes out last for any other Rockstar game... Rockstar knows that the impatient people will buy it on PS4 or Xbox One to play it ASAP, then buy it again for PC when it is available. That is the only reason the PC version is never released at the same time as the console versions for any game made by Rockstar.

Or they can just play it on 360 or PS3 until PC release,

I might have bought it again for a current gen console but I don't own one and i'm not buying one for one game either.

Paid timed exclusives are not part of any conspiracy, but are in fact happening in reality since a long while ago. Just look at Call of Duty for example which launches its DLC and stuff on Xbox first, even though CoD usually gets released on all platforms at the same time. GTA V is not the first game that has had this kind of strings attached to it, but there are in fact tens if not hundreds of games on both Xbox and PlayStation that are exclusives only because Sony or Microsoft pays for that.

Getting a time exclusivity with GTA V will help sell a few more next-gen consoles. Selling more consoles mean more money for MS/Sony in the long run, as they get a percentage for every game sold worldwide. And people who bought a console for GTA V will probably end up in time buying a lot more games thus, making them more money.

Its one thing to have content exclusive to a single platform ,its another to believe both Sony & MS who work against each other would pull a deal like that . It is quite frankly stupid to even try to debate this rumor validity .

Oh god. Just please do some research before posting on the forums, you're bringing everyone's IQ down with your posts. It's not MS and Sony that worked a deal together, but rather Rockstar setting the terms with both when they have signed. Use your damn brain.

Timed exclusive entails it's exclusive on a SINGLE platform. Thus your argument is invalid.
How the hell is a timed exclusive the same with a platform exclusive? A timed exclusive is something like GTA that comes after a while on other platforms as well, while a platform exclusive will only release to that particular system, for example Uncharted on Playstation.

As i said in another thread, R*Games have always for the most part delayed their games on PC , MS knows it , SONY knows it,They dont even need to throw bags of money at em, they'll delay the game no matter what

All I hear from ** like you is the same unfounded rumor with nothing , nothing at all to back up your claims , you guys love to tell us to fk off and go search the web for it but i won't , when you make claims , you better bring your evidence with you , so go find em for me , little monkey that you are OR , OR go in the corner over there , sit and roll your thumbs in circle because that , that will be more proactive then what you're trying to accomplish here , ty .

Let's start with the fact that it's not a port.
You're waisting your time, people these days have it in there heads that if a PC game comes out after consoles it's automatically a port. PC version has been in development since 2012 it is its own version created along side the console versions.

I have Faith in the product. Remember despite that GTA IV required pretty much a multi core just to run in the day that dual core were the primary processors on gaming PCs of the day, GTA IV was still an awesome and superior game on PC.

I would hope Rockstar realized this. Both GTA San Andreas and GTA IV had better gameplay and more general features, and even improvements over their console counter parts. I can only expect GTA V will get the same level of attention.

I mean GTA IV on PC though it had optimization issues I used to be able to play it on a below min recommended hardware machine at the time. Now I have a machine that can run just about any game without issue coming out today.

I have no worries of Optimization as I would hope Rockstar learned their lesson with GTA IV, being the games use generally the same engine they've had more time working with this engine than before. Just Remember GTA IV looked like "Balls" on the 360 and PS3 when compared to the PC version.

Even if Sony/Microsoft bribed them to hold it back. I've seen this happened on plenty of games. Look at Skyrim for example. Microsoft always ended up with DLC first for it. But Skyrim on PC is GOD ON EARTH. Even though PC ended up getting DLC last for the game.
