Black textures?
Is there a fix for this? First it only happened after alt-tabbing, now it's always like that. Only the light sources such as headlights show the textures on the ground etc.

Try reducing some of your Graphics Settings. It's possible you might be exceeding the Memory Limit. Try turning down Field of View and see if that helps some. If not, then jusy slowly keeping chunking down the settings. If none of that helps, try clearing the game cache. If still nothing, just have to wait for a patch or possible hardware upgrades.

I think the problem was VLC on my second monitor.

And I play on minimum settings, can't change anything without the memory limit going in the red. I still get like 70 fps outside so kinda weird I can't change my graphics settings more.
Yeah, VLC will do some ♥♥♥♥ lol. Well, you can try downloading an optimizing prgram from your Grahpics Provider, or you can download a program called Raptr. Now, with GTA V, I have no idea why it's so different. All of my games, I generally get a 60-80 FPS, depending on the game itself. When it comes to GTA V, the boss level is real......

Is there a proper solution for this issue?

Had this issue with DX10 (not 10.1). The textures are actually there, just too dark. You can see them when u switch the light on the car on (if it's the same problem i had).
In 10.1 it works for me.
