i dont like turning off the vsync on the nvidia control panel it makes it hard to play without it
Yeah if you have 144 monitor, it wont go higher, thus there wont be any stutter. I think It's because the vsync plus triple buffer. Smooth but a "hiccup" every second indicates that there are some deleted / skipped frame. Gonna try limit the fps to around 57.
Hope i helped someone.. :)
u should only disable it if u have around 8 gigs or less cause i have 16 gigs of ram and i have enough to play it at full speed and the game still stutters alot
okay but hear me out.. there was reports that the game uses pagefile even if you have a lot of ram, and this process was using almost full speed of my disk preventing the pagefile to be used properly.. just try it out, you can always turn it back on.. :)
this is why i stick to windows 7 its better and has less crap running in the background
my belief on the matter is that this game is more data dependent than cpu, meaning it doesn't "play nice" with anything else that also likes to use the storage device. for example i believe if you turn off "windows system protection"(in 'advanced system settings') , which likes to use disk in the background , that it will improve the overall stutter of gtaV.
note it is not recommended to turn off windows system protection unless you have a seperate backup/system image
in this instance the speed of the storage device is not my intended argument, but rather the strain on the mobo's storage controller itself
It turned out I had connected my screen to the wrong HDMI port (the original HDMI port -NOT the one on the graphics card). As soon as i reconnected the cable to my graphics card everytnig worked again.
So please check that your cable is in order and connected correctly.
so u have a dual hdmi thinig on ur card
