Hacker spawns cash!!! Help me!
Hi

So I was in a lobby today when a guys teleported to me out of nowhere. Me and my cousin saw it, we were are the Sandy Shores airport. This guy began to start spawning bags of cash around me and my cousin. We got around 6 to 8 million cash to spend. We never wanted this! Later he joined the lobby again and gave everyone in the game cash! It was a public lobby.

Can me and my cousin be banned? We bought a car and a plane for the money but we still have it in the bank. I don't want to be banned. Someone knows what to do?

Rob

If this guy gifts me 100 million, I can buy everything and rockstar will only get the rest $ back. Okay then...

You get to keep the stuff you bought from it, they'll only balance your account.
So nothing to worry about; Go hunt those 10 million bounties.

Answer: The adjusted account balances are the result of removing modded money. If you already spent some or all of the modded money you were given, you may find that your account balance after adjustment is lower than it was before you received the counterfeit money - this is correct as you will be allowed to keep the items you bought. Any unspent money from Shark Card purchases is also not affected. For accounts that would have been left with little or no GTA$ after correction, we added sufficient funds to continue playing and enjoying GTA Online, taking into account whether a player intentionally created and distributed modded GTA$ or received modded money innocently.

Do you feel good that some players get rich with that and you get nothing? :P

If a hacker/cheater gave you money, do not use it. Report it to rockstar immediately and you will receive no punishment. If you spend it and report it to rockstar, you will likely be punished for using an exploit (using hacked money)

You obviously didn't read any of the recent posts here then. Nor the link I posted.
He won't be banned. He'll keep the items bought but lose some of his original money.

You don't need to hide the truth.

And they also said in the linked article to NOT contact them about it as they can't do anything about it individually, it's an automated thing that removed hacked money from everyone all at once...

I'll just quote this when someone needs to know about any of this.
End of discussion I guess. The answer is here.
Okay thanks guys for helping me out. I will keep you posted tomorrow.

No.

If you have $100,000; and someone hacks and gives you $1,000,000; then you spend $100,000; Rockstar will change your balance to $0; not back to $100,000.

Well, on the Rockstar site I read that I can keep vehicles... Someone said that I should spend it and the cash will be gone.
