GTA V Native Trainer in Online
For those of you that don't know what it is, the GTA V Native Trainer is a 'mod' for Grand Theft Auto V that adds several 'cheat' functions like God Mode, Infinite Ammo, Flaming Bullets, Car Spawning, Teleportation, Character Switching, etc. to the singleplayer game. The creator of this tool took steps to prevent it from being used in Grand Theft Auto Online, however many people have bypassed his efforts and are now using what is essentially Director Mode in online lobbies.

I knew this was going to be a huge issue when I got on this morning and met two players using this trainer in GTA Online. In the next few days or weeks, I think we can fully expect the amount of people using these trainers to skyrocket and essentially destroy any hope of playing the game legitimately. Even players who don't use the trainer are likely to get paired with players that do in heists, races, missions, etc.

However, I don't propose that we simply ban all of these users, as I can see the appeal of having a trainer like this to mess around with on a multiplayer server, especially with friends.

Assuming it is possible, I would like to see distinct options for protected and unprotected servers, where the protected servers are the vanilla, unmodified GTA Online experience and the unprotected servers are open to any sort of modification the players want.

To counteract any sort of unfair advantages, disable any monetary gains/losses and disable all mission types in the unprotected sessions. This essentially creates a sandbox playground for players to do whatever they want without adversely affecting the players who want to play the game as intended.

This allows everyone to play the game without penalty and without upsetting the balance or other players.

Rockstar might even go so far as to enable Director Mode (which is what the trainer essentially is) in certain sessions to basically invalidate the Native Trainer and allow Rockstar to control how it is implemented and create a more safe and stable environment for all players.

I don't know if any of this is realistic or even possible, but what do you guys think?

I'd be for it as long as it didn't take too much time from other updates.

I'm all for SNT, but it only took ten days for people to start to ruin GTAO. Pretty depressing.
I'll be using SNT for singleplayer, but the second it starts to affect my GTAO I'm uninstalling instantly.

I have no problems with people using SNT either, even in multiplayer as long as they keep things to a mostly harmless level.

I've already encountered several people using it myself, although they all claimed they weren't going to use it 'negatively.' Regardless of if that's true or not, there are going to be many, many more who will.
