How to skip the torture scene?

It is so unreasonable to make players play a mini game where you torture somebody..... How to skip it?

Does not work, if you die as Micheal, it skips to Trevor's torture scene. A post-mission save game is the only solution here.

I just pulled through the Torture mission "By The Book" and found out if you choose the wrench every time (pressing left multiple times) and just click the left mouse button fast you can skip the up-close and Hostel/SAW torture scenes. If you keep clicking after choosing the wrench the scene (where Trevor tortures Ferdinand Kerimov) will immediately skip and sends you to Michael and then back to Trevor. Just choose the pipe wrench again and keep clicking until Michael can identify and kill Tahir Javan.

The point about gta’s typical violence vs this is that normally everything is rather cartoonish. Sure there’s blood when you shoot a guy but he goes rag doll instantly and you’re usually not super close and you just move on. The torture scene is disturbing because you actually hear him begging and crying and screaming that he’s innocent and wants to talk and wants to go back to his family but the game forces you to rip out his teeth, electrocute him, and rupture his privates with a wrench.

This 100%. "Isn't it funny people will laugh at tom and jerry, but be disturbed by an animated cat being skinned in a basement?" Tone and context matter. It's absurd a couple bankrobbers can kill thousands of cops, often without any mask and being filmed. But the idea the government could cart a citizen away and deprive them of their legal and human rights? That's literally happens irl. The cops in-game also don't have names or unique faces; Mr K has a name, face, job, history, voice, mannerisms. He's basically a fleshed-out person, and can be empathized with as such. Not to mention he's defenseless and meek compared to the ridiculously aggressive cops.
Yes this is a dead thread but I was looking for advice bc that mission always makes my stomach sick and I was tryna replay the story.

I feel as if advice wouldn't best come from here of all places. And I believe the option to skip was mentioned in comment two.

Sorry to contribute to necro but I also didn't like this mission and decided to go with the shock/water methods. They're much less gory etc than the rest. Its also an empathy thing: I'd rather get shocked or half-drowned than get - yeah the other things that you can do.
