Can't change character.

Stuck on Trevor. There is not a character switcher just R* editor functions.

sometimes you are stuck on a character when you have to do missions to advance on the game then you get the other characters availability back

Also, this is a very common bug related too corrupted save-files. Reloading too save prior too this happening, should fix it.

You still get the character wheel, they're just greyed out .

You can't switch during missions and at some scripted events during the game. For example; there is one point where you can only be Trevor because Michael and Franklin are resting after a heist. Play as Trevor doing his missions and you will get to where you can switch again.

For normal switching;

F5 Michael
F6 Franklin
F7 Trevor

Hold down the key for switching for about 3 seconds and let go. You will then switch to that person.

You're mistaken. If you can't switch becouse of certain parts in the story and in missions, the wheel stills comes up. It's just greyed out.
This is a common bug, been here since the PS3. The only real fix, is loading back too a previous save BEFORE this happend.

No. I'm not mistaken. When you Can switch, using the F keys is the faster way to switch.

Honestly. You're wrong. This is a bug, related too corrupted save-files. I've had myself on both PC and PS3. If you can't switch becouse of the story, The wheel is grey'd out. If It's the bug, The wheel doesn't appear at all, neither does the F3-F5 work.

LOL, calm down, it ain't no big deal. OK, there's a bug that some get and most don't. There are also many players that don't know you can't always switch characters just because you want to and have to wait until scripted events allow you to change again. My original post was for the later set of players.

I'm experiencing this bug as well. Only affects me with Michael now. If I play online, sometimes it takes me back to Trevor in which I can continue and switch to Franklin no problems... But as Michael? I can't change at all. No character selection, etc at all... Is frustrating as hell as I'm near the end of the story =(

You don't have any saves you can roll back too?
