The Long Stretch, Franklin mission glitched?

So I am doing the story mode and i'mon the mission for Franklin called The Long Stretch. I start the mission needing to buy a pump shotgun and get the flashlight mod for it, problem is when I go to ammu-nation and talk to the clerk, the gun is still ghosted and says its unavailable, even though I can buy it for Michael and Trevor. Am I glitched or is there something I am not doing?

Isn't is just the mod you're supposed to buy? IIRC I had the/a shotgun at that point.

Well if it is just the mod I need to buy than the game itself is glitched since even outside the mission I cant buy the shotgun for Franklin.

Help me i already bought the shotgun and upgraded at max now when im doing mission i cant buy flashlight because i already did

Wow this is old. Aint this the one u drive to ammunation then the plant for the Lamar deal gone fubar? If so, buy some pistol ammo and walk out to car.

[FIX] All you have to do is just die 3 times with a C4 or any kind of explosion and the mission will give you the option to skip the gun store and you can continue on with the mission, you're not missing any crucial dialogue or cutscenes. This worked for me and I was still able to play the whole mission with all my upgraded weaponry. 👌
