It should help people make their choice.
Doesn't matter how old it is. When people google which is the "best" shadow setting, they will still see a link to this thread. It will still be relevant, and help them in 2017 and years to come. I hope you're trolling(level 0 freshly created Steam account.. ya.) Can't believe I even took a minute out of my day to respond to such petty sh!t

This helped me a lot. Seems like none of them are really the best, just different. However "Softest" uses the least GPU power compared to the NVIDEA and AMD options.
I'm gonna reply 3 years later to add that NOTHING pisses me off more than when I google something, enter a thread where someone is asking the exact same question that I am, and the first reply is "use the search function."
I'm like, "That's what I Fing did you SOB. Let someone answer them so when I use the search function I can learn the answer. This thread popped up before the thread where this was actually answered."
