This is my best game to date but I had to buy a £1,500 PC play it on but it was money well spent. The only thing that needs fixing is that your custome car goes missing,Other
then that 9/10.....
Here... I don't even know. It often feels like there is just a bunch of random missions, some of them are interesting, some of them not so much. I have not finished it yet so maybe things get more interesting nearing the end. I just thought I would like it more. The attention to the little details is insane, the world is beautiful, but it really feels like the story is going nowhere.
At the end of the day, GTA IV only ever stood on its new physics and flashy visuals, which aren't THAT great, and are actually starting to look pretty ugly.
And to this day, I'll always be amused that despite being based on New York City; a city which is often hailed as having piles of interesting happenings and sights, Rockstar's video game representation of such a location does a pretty good job at portraying exactly the opposite.
Otherwise stay offline and use some funny mods. ^^

DO NOT activate GTA Online, as long as you have mods installed.
You will get banned for it by Rockstar Club, unfortunately.

makes my gta 5 single player, one Epic Sim.
epic to the point that you start to notice just how much content the devs chose to leave out,, or indeed Took out of the single player experience..
one word for online,, 'boring'.
one word for online-Private-Lobby-modded-los-santos-law-abiding-citizens-no-crimes-stick-to-the-limit-30mph-occulus-rifters,, 'banned'.
so yes,, gta 5 can be epic,, or tragic on an epic scale..
you just have to know what you want out of the game and go for it.
Such as: Insane loading screens, you cant walk into most of the houses and you cant even see through most of the windows - they look like pics taken from a game in 199X and alot of bugs...
Not to mention all the cheaters - it just feels like a well started game that has been totally destroyed for some reason. if they were in a rush or just lazy i dont know. but it could've been way better with small changes imo
Probably limitations from the consoles. Remember, the game was created for xbox360 and ps3 and even though they slapped a new coat of paint over it in the so called "enhanced version" it's still the same old engine with the same old limitations and the same old problems.
I was always disappointed that you can't even enter the business you buy in single player. When i bought that strip club out in the desert with Trevor i was hoping for something funny, cliche to explore, a redneck version of the strip club in the city but nope. Same with the Smoke on the Water store and others
The biggest mind-boggling thing is the Tequi-la-la. It has a full interior from day one because there was a mission taking place but you never can't enter it on your own. Even now you can't, it's weird and disappointing.
The world feels a bit fake and lifeless in single player. Maybe that was the intention of Rockstar considering they make so much fun of the Hollywood lifestyle, everybody being fake and all that...i don't know. If that was their plan it backfired because as a player you want a world to explore not something that looks as fake as a movie set in a studio.
I don't know why, from everything I've experienced it should be a very fun game to play, but it's not. It's just barely entertaining enough to see it through to the end.
