Bluetooth Headphones No sound
Bought a new pair of wireless Bluetooth headphones today. Works in other games but not GTA V. Anyone else encounter this and have a solution?

I've actually found it's best to turn them on *after* you've loaded a game. The game will pause for a bit, but then the sound will be coming through the BT headphones.

If I have them turned on when I start the game, it usually takes more time, to turn them off, let the sound switch to the speakers and then turn them back on. And sometimes that doesn't work properly the first time. So I just don't turn them on until I've loaded the game and usually it works on the first attempt.

I have the same problem, although in tf2, it was working fine but then when I got IN a game; it stops. I tried having a look if it was muted; no. when I am IN a game there is no sound, and continues like that when I disconnect from the game. There is however sound when I start it up, there is sound until I get in a game. I am really confused by this, I tried removing the device then reconnecting it, nope. I am un sure what to do.. (for those who know what the voice thing is when you turn the headphones on, it says; power on, but never says connecting anymore..)

I'm the OP and this is all you have to do. This works for Internet pages like Netflix and Youtube or Games. When you turn on the Bluetooth headphones, look to the bottom right corner of Windows and the audio level may change. If if does, your Headphones are connected, ingore the next part. If it don't, just scroll your curser over the audio icon and it will say what the audio device is connected. If it doesn't change. Right click on it, go to Playback Devices, scroll down and find your Turned on headphones, and set as default. Now the the Headphones are your default device and being detected, close out and reopen any program you're want to use the headphones with, like restarting Google Chrome if I want to watch Netflix and Youtube or save and restart a game. Sometimes randomly and on a very RARE chance I still can't get this to work and restarting Windows doesn't work with going back and doing all this again. I just plug a old wired pair in and try later or Tomorrow before I break something out of Rage! LOL But this solution has worked for me the longest time. Oh and another simple solution, make sure you have Bluetooth capibilities and it's turned on. HA! :steamhappy:

The problem may be the settings of your bluetooth-device under Windows...
