Wiimote wheel driving in GTA 5
It's real. Wiimote program for walking etc and then with a button press you can switch to real wheel driving in the game- LIKE IT SHOULD BE. GTA 5 should have a setup for steering wheel driving but they never did... go figure.

ANyways, this is not a group advertisement, its just that the link for the video is there as an announcement. Check it out! (No I am not the person in the video).

Dude, this is a next-generation videogame...please, delete this thread...
Very few people even know how to connect their Wiimotes to the computer, and 70% of the people who do are idiots who already shoved it up their butts.

Also your video was removed. Good job.

1) its a console port.
2) wiimote use is still prevalent and used from robotics, drone control & various methodologies of gamer interaction including headcam and flight control.
3) My video, is not my video: it is the developers video- it is still up, maybe you need some help finding it?
4) finally, your insulting nature is probably derived from something else bothering you. Perhaps you want to talk about it? Meanwhile, get a wiimote and try it yourself,e xcept for the shoving it up your but thing. that is just nasty.

Well, I still do have mine too. I didn't mean to be rude, dude, but seriously, when you think about it, Wii is eight years old now. EIGHT YEARS. And the last time I used it was to emulate Super Paper Nazi Mario on my computer with texture modifications.

it isnt about the fact that is a nintendo product, its the way to interact with the game.

Its very comfortable and intuitive and very accurate(with what I am using I mean). The thing I wanted to show was, that you CAN easily starting using it as a steering wheel to play grand theft auto. Something I always thought was sooooo- missing from the series for PC.

so I just wanted to let people know that they can do it too if they felt like it. You CAN use the wiimote without the IR and use it as a regular xbox controller to play as well if u needed to. I just love aiming it like a gun :D

Technically, it's useless without a Nunchuck. Also, people could just buy a damned Xbox 360 controller adapter/wireless controller, and use it..

But one thing that kinda annoys me is how PS3 controllers have gyroscopes. Certain games can take advantage of this to introduce some kind of motion control (Shaking the controller, tilting it, etc.) to do certain things. GTA V doesn't have this. Neither on PS4 or PS3, or the PC version. Not that it really matters, but it'd make first-person a bit more...realistic.

yes I agree. However, you can actually connect a classic controller to the wiimote and run it that way and simply switch over to wheel as you need to with gyro.

Im fine if they feel there is no market for it- Im sure their attitude will change with more VR stuff.

This is one reason why I love what we are doing here, simply because of the interaction.

for example: I play tomb raider (latest one): so imagine the variety you can institute with the following:
tilt wiimote left/forward thrust/tilt right
shake nunchuck or tilt it.

you can bind those to any movement in game just for fun. Makes QTEs a bit more dramatic lol.

Ignore the above. I only did it so it wouldn't spam the thread with replies...
I completely forgot that there was a classic controller extension...thanks for pointing that out.

Well, I still keep my Nintendo GameCube somewhere. Oh, the childhood memories...
I always told my mom I could someday sell it on eBay for a thousand. Or more. And I'm planning on doing that sometime. Maybe that day I stop being such a lazy bum sitting on my ass all day playing GTA V.

I never had a SNES, but I have to agree, SNES had some pretty good games (I can tell because I played some games with an emulator) like the REAL Street Fighter, instead of this crap on Steam that claims to be Street Fighter. It also had the classic Mario games. GOD, if only Nintendo realised what they're doing with releasing Nintendo 3DS, 3DS XL, 2DS, 2DS XL, NEW 3DS and NEW 3DS XL all in one row and how unoriginal they were with their games, (SERIOUSLY, no one needs Super Mario 3D Land and Super Mario 3D World. That's just milking off a good series like EA is doing with FIFA and The Sims) they'd probably stop making remakes of old games and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ sequels with like, ONE new thing. Oh, difference from Super Mario 3D Land to Super Mario 3D World? They added Cat Mario. Not that rage game called Cat Mario, but an actual cat mario. And so be it then. The entire game is the same as the previous one.

They're not even trying to be original anymore...
