[SOLVED] Blurry (Out of focus)
I turned the texture to high. But still, when in 3rd person, it is very noticeable that the distance is blurry. I mean like 1 meter from the character, not too far away. It's blurry if I standing still or running.

It even more pronounce when in first person. For example, when driving a car in first person view, the road in front of the car is blurry. It's like the depth of field is too much. But I did not turn on the motion blur.

So how to fix this in the settings?

SOLVED: Guys, the solution is to turn on anisotropic filtering to x16 in your gpu settings.

Holy crap of a game...it is blurry, and it can not be tweaked, by the time being...at least I haven't seen a solution

image would be help

It almost seems like the game is not using Anisotropic Filtering properly.

Guys, the solution is to turn on anisotropic filtering to x16 in your gpu settings. The texture in the game would be crisp. The in-game anisotropic filtering is not as effective as the gpu's anisotropic.

Turning that off only made it worse. What worked for me was to turn off depth of field.

I have aniso x16 activated via driver for all games, and even with this, game is blurry.

I think it is a residual Depth of Field devs decided to include, and it can not be deactivated in config. I have tried everything to eliminate it, believe me xD...console commands, SweetFX shaders....everything.

I hope to find a way soon

I did not turn on the depth of field yet the game is blurry. I turn on anisotropic x16 in nvidia gpu settings. Works better than the in-game anisotropic.

If you're using nvidia, anisotropic set to x16 and set the filter to High Quality or Quality.

It is not aniso...Look at car and street lights at night...you see ok first, say, 20 metres...far away all lights start to have an halo, DoF-like

Turn off FXAA. Its awful in every game. Use real full scene anti aliasing. FXAA just makes everything a blurry mess for me in every game. Also disable depth of field. But the depth of field in this game is actually pretty cool. I haven't seen a game that tried to guess what you were focusing on and actually work correctly. I don't like depth of field b/c it is simulating lens effects and focal points and while it is what happens in movies, etc due to physics it doesn't look good in most games.

You are right, DoF is a photo effect, not suitable for first or third person games, as your eyes don't see this in real life...

But again, I state, this is NOT a configuration issue, game is this way...I've seen this blurryness in every youtube video and forums screenshot, no matter what config

I think the DOF is linked to the Post Effects option in the game. Turning Post Effects to High increases the bloom effect which can soften the lighting.

for some reason i find this good looking but i don't have it myself, i was wondering how to enable it actually xD

Make sure your Frame Scaling Mode is OFF.
