Wildlife Photography Challenge missing..

Is this a console only thing? Because according to the wiki, after the first Strangers and Freaks mission with Beverley, I should have been signed up for this but I never got any e-mail about it or anything, and taking pictures of animals does nothing. What gives?

bump. Also if this is in the game and mine is bugged, is it needed for 100%, because uh I'm at 80% and just noticed now that this was supposed to be a thing..

It is? Wiki didn't say anything about that. This is my first time ever playing GTA V so yeah definitely not returning.

If you know about someone who owns GTA 5 on PS3/XBOX360 (not PS4/XBONE), you could ask him to beat first two missions for you, using your new/old free XBOX Live/PSN account (it shouldn't take more than 10-15 minutes). Then you could link that account to your Rockstar Social Club and you would be eligible for returning player bonus, you'd get ingame notification about Wildlife challenge right after the accounts get linked.

I got the message from Beverly, and started the challenge. I'm playing on pc, and I'm not a returning player. But then I started all over again, and I'm not getting the text message. Tried few new games and still no luck. So it was only a bug for first time, or what?
