custom crosshairs?

i know you can switch between simple and complex crosshairs in vanilla, but every complex crosshair but the assault rifle is vision obscuring filth, and the simple dot crosshair, even though its good for tracking fast moving targets, its not accurate long range because where the bullet lands is obscured.
is it possible to customise your crosshairs using mods? anyone shed some light on how to do this?
i just want the assault rifles 'complex' crosshair , but only the one from the assault rifles, on all the weapons. i hope its possible, would help seperate this game from the console beta testers autoaim dependant playerbase.

ps also stable dedicated servers. and specific weapon hotkeys (1,2,3,4,5,6 etc) in cars.

I'm a cs:go player so this came to my mind quickly. Sad that it took 2 years for someone to comment here...

Extract the weapons.meta file with OpenIV and in that file search for the "ReticuleStyleHash" parameter. Changing that parameter to WEAPONTYPE_RIFLE will change the corresponding weapon's reticule style to that of any assault rifle. After you're done just put the meta file back with OpenIV and the reticle should be changed.
