Dual Monitor

I want to use my other monitor while playing GTA V. I would switch between browsing and playing that way but each time I try, the game crashes or won't let me back in. Anyone know how to fix this? I'd have no problem shift-tabbing to the overlay, but I'm getting problems.

Alt enter and play in windowed mode... Thats what I do. There is a problem for some minimizing and maximizing. It causes and error and crashes. Pressing ALT key Enter key combo forces windowed mode and it also fixes the the issue when your character gets stuck on a lobby screen online.

Also have you got the latest drivers? I can alt tab to my 2nd monitor fine without crashing. Either way I prefer windowed mode when doing more than 1 thing anyway, its just so much easier. (though I generally only do 1 thing while playing gta, so play full screen).
