Always crashing during the chop mission with Lamar and Franklin

Its a fairly early mission in the game and it has crashed 4 times at different moments. I haven't had any problems with other missions and my vram is only 45 over the suggested limit. So it can't be because of my hardware. My fps is generally around 55-60 while walking and 40-50 while driving.


What should I do? Will there be some kind of patch that will fix missions. Should I try limiting my fps to 30?

Guys i have the same crash, only weirder. While walking chop in free roam, if i press RB button on xbox360 controller the game crashes, and it does this every time. But ONLY when walking the chop, without him the game does not crash -.- .

same problem, always right after the guy gets hit by a bus and you run out of the van with chop after him

I know this is very late but did you ever find a fix? I’m having the same issue
