never tried gsync but heard good things but i use 144hz and its smooth as hell and worth the upgrade not to sure about that 4ms tho vs 1ms probs wont notice the difference, asus is bringing a rog monitor that is ips and 120hz and the monitor looks kinda cool comes out in may sometime.

im probs gonna get that asus one or the rog swift 1440p gsync 144hz monitor its tn pannel and its 1ms so response will be good.

G-Sync is nice for migitating tearing and stuttering. I paid for that and thats what I have received.

120Hz and 144Hz have no big difference, but playing games at 120+ Hz feels and looks much more smooth compared to 60Hz.

I use Asus RoG 'Swift' by myself. Have owned it for 4 months now and have no regrets.

does gsync work on gta v? ive not used it and dunno if it works on everygame as i heard some games dont support it.

I'm not sure that does it work in this game. I have only few rare spikes, but I have not noticed stuttering or tearing.

In Far Cry 4 it completely eliminated all tearing and stuttering.

if u got 144hz u dont really need gsync, hell u dont need vsync, should be fine, to be honest i have never noticed screen tearing on my ASUS VG278HR.

I have been looking at those monitors as well. I am thinking of trying something with 144hz tho. I haven't had a 144hz monitor before

From what i have seen and heard Gsync is amazing - so if you can afford it, i would say go for it...

4K is not really meant for gaming yet, becayse you need minimum SLI setup to support it.

And SLI/Crossfire driver optimization isn't the best.

I have sli G1 980s at 1501mhz and 4k gaming is amazing!

Of course gsync work with GTA V. It works with every game that is running in true fullscreen.

The only game I can think of, off the top of my head, which doesn't work with gsync is The Evil Within. Since that game only runs in full screen borderless window mode, there is no gsync there
