Reuniting the family - help please

Reuniting the family - Michael's quest ... So, after I pass the mission, it forces you to switch to someone on some island ( don't spoil please ) and on the final zoom it crashes every time ( tried 6 times now ) .. can anyone help me with this please ?

Pc specs : GTX 970
i7 5930k
16 gb ram

( I have the game on social club only )

I believe this is the same glitch as in Blitz Play so you have to skip the mission by failing 3 times in a row (launch a rpg at yourself) and skip it Once the bug is patched, you can replay the mission and go for a gold medal.

You might want to grab the crash event code and send it to Rockstar Support.
I have a GTX 970 + 8 Gigs + AMD 6100, was able to successfully finish the mission and the zooming in didn't crash for me.

Thats the problem, you cannot skip this part .. you can skip to the part when it says MISSION PASSED .. but they it automaticaly switches you and crash ... so I have to wait for patch only

Obviously you didn't understand what problem the OP is having.

Basically he can finish that mission, then when the camera pans out to switch to *someone(not spoiling it as per OP's request)*, the game crashes.

yep, in blitz play, you could skip it ( I had to, as i had the same problem ) .. but here when you skip, it puts you to the end cutscene of mission, and it automaticaly switches you to someone and you can do nothing about it

I had this problem on Blitz Play. I fixed it by enabling the landing page and restarting the game. After that I was able to complete it no problem, give it a shot if you have it turned off.

this part of the game is a very known issue, i had the same thing last night, drove me insane, beat it 4 times, even tried in safe mode, all you need todo is at the last part when you play as franklin and have to get into the garbage truck to destroy it is kill yourself a few times and hit skip mission, it will jump right away to micheals cutscene so you dont miss out on the story. only work around ive had work on me.

Uhm .. you did not read it at all did you ? :D I completed blitz play like 2 days ago .. I am talking about REUNITING THE FAMILY quest
