Gta 5 "has stopped working"

I have 60 hours in game and no problems with it. I closed the game for like 5 minutes, and then i wanted to play again, from that moment my game is crashing, is loading till the screen when i have to select to go ONline or story mode and then crashes or sometimes doesnt even get there. What is happening? had no problems since now. All of a sudden i get GTA 5 launcher has stopped working etc.

I've got the same issue too. Seems a lot of people do. I'm sure they're working on it, but would an acknowledgement from Rockstar be asking much?

I'm getting this error as well - game is UNPLAYABLE - as I don't know when the crash will happen - cant save in time. FIX THIS!

With all these 3 , i fixed my 2 days crashing on police siren on the loading screen or even crashing on launcher. I had unfortunatelly a 3rd party working in the back for installing some ♥♥♥♥ which ddint let me pass.. now i've played 5 hours long without crashing. Check your sistem guys with those tools. Helped me. Good luck

well im getting the "gta 5 not working crash" randomly since the 1. patch after release... if im lucky i can play a hour now or maybe too, if im unlucky not more than 5 minutes and crash... before the one patch i was able to play and stream 10 hours in row without crash...

I can confirm that this works guys!

I tried every other possible solution, and turns out, there was adware in my registry files interfering with Social Club causing it to crash. Downloading those removal tools deleted those files out of my registry and GTA V hasn't crashed since :D

I'm so happy I got to finally play GTA Online, funnest all nighter of my life~

i tried it out too, and NOPE it dont work by me, still the same crap

i had crashes and i've found a post saying that disabling the homepage of the game caused it.
I reenabled it & it seems to be fine now. I had only one crash of my graphic card in 4 hours of gameplay... Ooptions, settings, startup, the loading thing has to be "ON"...

same probem. was working fine until they did useless update and ruined whole game.
