Buying a car/house in story mode..?

You need to progress in the story to buy them.

Go to the internet button on your mobile phone in game. There should be car listings there. You need money and a garage in order to buy them, as they are stored there. You can buy a garage when you see the icon available on your map.

Really? Cause my friend beat the whole game and he still can't buy houses/cars..

Luna, I know how to buy them. I can't... Look go into story mode and try buyign a house.

There aren't any "houses" to buy actually. All the players either start already with a home, or in the case of Franklin, get it automatically from playing the story.

You can however buy businesses and garages.

For cars, you buy them by opening your phone, going to internet, and then going to one of the vehicle retailers. I think its listed under something like transportation/travel on the homepage.

How do I buy businesses/garages?... I know how to get to them on the phone but nothing comes up, says the site is in maintnance.

Patience is a virtue. Otherwise go google and find the answers yourself.

You literally just drive up to them and hit E to buy. There should be a "for sale" sign you can interact with. Just keep in mind that most businesses are character specific. For example, only Michael can buy the cinemas.

Also some properties only unlock after you reach specific points in the story. So if you are still having issues, likely you need to advance the story more.
