How to keep dot crosshair always on screen?

When I have a weapon with scope equipped, there seems to be 3 modes in first person:

Mode 1: My character is just holding the weapon leisurely. There's no crosshair and he's not looking down the scope. My character seems to always be in this pose.

Mode 2 (hip firing): The dot crosshair appears, but the scope isn't being used. I only know how to activate this by shooting.

Mode 3: I'm looking down the scope. Activated by right clicking.


I want to make Mode 2 the default, and right click to go into scope, like most FPS shooters. Is there anyway to do this? I don't want to use the scope all the time because the scope blocks some of the view.

Put a small "sticker" at the centre of your screen. Simple.
