[Solved] Draw Distance / Level of Detail Setting?
Solution: I had to make a profile for GTA in my Catalyst Control Center and set the Anisotropic Filter to x16

Original Question:
What is the draw distance / Level of Detail setting. I am trying to get rid of the blurry lines on the roads but cant seem to find the setting. See image for what I am talking about. Take a look at the Center yellow line and how the texture breaks down as it goes into the distance.

In game.

So your solution is to adjust the anisotropic in GPU settings? Once you set to x16 in GPU settings, did you turn off the anisotropic in game or you left it x16?

I haven't got a chance to try it since I'm away from home till tomorrow.
I ended up turning it off in game when it is on in the GPU software but I dont know if it really makes a difference.

I turned on x16 in GPU. It's better than the in game anisotropic filter. Texture looks sharp now.

I also found that texture filtering increases texture sharpness over a distance.
I had this problem when I first got the game but I was able to force AF to 16x in the nVidia control panel and it fixed it. It didn't matter what the setting was in the game. According to nVidia and this tweak guide, the GPU AF setting is better quality than the in-game setting anyway...

On the CCC I do get the occasional frame drop / lag stick because of the AF override. Its minimal though like once every 30min
