Infinite Loading Screen (SOLVED)

Hello. Every time I launch my game, it gets stuck at the "Do not turn your system off while this icon is being displayed" screen. I tried repairing the game but that didn't work. I am going to try to reinstall. Has this happened to anyone else? Have you found a fix? Any information is greatly appreciated.

Edit: I fixed this problem by reinstalling everything. Including the game and Rockstar Social Club. This may not work for everyone but it's worth a try.

What are your system specs, can you tell me every one of them? Haven't happened to me even if my specs aren't really that great :P

So you're talking about the first screen that shows the three spinning circles about why you shouldn't turn off your system if you see those? Okay..

Are you starting up story mode, or trying to online? If you're trying to go directly online, don't. when you run the launcher just go directly to Story Mode. Make sure the Social Club launcher also logs you into social club as that app has been problematic for many players.

Yes I'm talking about those three circle things. I can't even get to the main menu where you choose story or online.

My specs are fine. It has nothing to do with that.

I have the same problem! I posted a support ticket on Rockstar, but who knows when they will answer back.

I'll let you know if reinstalling fixes the issue. It's a little over 50 percent for me right now.

I have the exact same problem with the retail version of the game running on my i7 4770 with two gtx 970s in sli. Have tried reinstalling the game 3 times on different SSDs, sli on/off, running as Admin, etc etc. Have tried all the tricks suggested by people on forums etc, for instance the turn off external GPUs when launching social club, then turn back on when you get the "below spec" message. Nothing has worked so far. I contacted Rockstar support, they just suggested the on/off GPU trick. I wrote back that it did not work, and currently awaiting an answer from them. In their first reply, they stated that a lot of users have encountered this problem. I guess we will just have to wait for a fix :(

Just reinstalled. Didn't work. Guess I'll have to wait for a patch.

Instead of saying all that useless ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, you could buy a new PC or just upgrade it, its all about your specs, not the game since the game runs fine for me atleast and the rest of 80% of GTA V Players :)

I'm also having the same problem with the same feedback from support. With additional reminders to have current drivers. Nothing has worked so far. I hope a fix can be found or a patch is on it's way.
