Running out of memory
So i know alot of people have this issue... Anyone came by a fix for this?

I can't get windows to change virtual memory to my second haddrive (on which GTA is also located) so i can't try that fix... I can play for max 10 min. before it crashes

PC:
i5-2500K
8 gig
Nvidia 970 GTX
120 gig SSD for OS and etc.
1.5 tb HDD for games and etc.

When it is running it runs smoothly, So its not the PC but the application that leaks or something...

Any?

Are you sure it's actually running out of memory? Did you monitor it with a memory usage graph?

It seems to gradually eat up all memory then end out in a crash. I tried disabling virtual memory and then it dident even last 5 minutes lol.

Yeah... don't do that...

I have enough memory (95% of those who succesfully play GTA have this or below). its a fault within the coding. Also 8 gigs is what they've put as recommended spec's.

Also all other AAA titles that is on the market today runs like hot butter on this PC

Game play is smooth running no crashes at 1440x900 Windowed Borderless resolution. During benchmark the car chase scene near the end the frames dropped for an instance or two to 37fps during the explosion. It then returns to 60fps+ and the rest of the benchmark its 90-120fps+. Weird in the way it fluctuates at certain points, but i expect these issues to be ironed out in the days and weeks ahead.

You have to set the virtual memory to be managed by the system , so the pagefil will adapt on what the game want , so you don't crash. It's a memory leak btw, game need a patch.
ToxicTouch 19. apr. 2015 kl. 8.08
Unfortunatly my system doesent seem to be "willing" to use my secondary drive as virtual memory... Selecting it and configuring it doesent seem to save. it kinda "resets" back to only using C drive..

So for me its nothing else than waiting..

Its not because i am lacking memory. i have 4 gb Vram and 8 gigabyte of system ram and that is enough for any games currently released. Maybe if you're running 4k displays that would be up for consideration

You still can set a custom amount of virtual memory youself on C drive.
set like 12 giga for your system.

Or use a UBS key to run only at readyboost use.
It do the same.

which Os ?
I actually had a similar issue, despite the fact that 6/8Gb (max) is being used a message will popup and crash my game because Windows is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ OS as ever.

Enabling Page File solves the problem, but you need to let the system automatically allocate it to prevent any issues.

i bet you just have way to much background trash running
