How much GB of RAM does GTA 5 take while you're playing?

I plan to get GTA 5, but before I do so, I need to know how much GB of RAM does it take while you're playing?
I'm wondering so because one of my friend says it takes only 1.5 GB of RAM while my other friend says it took him 93% of his RAM (He has 8 GB).

i was told by a few it was 8 but i was also told by a few that there is no game in the world that uses 8 gb of ram so i dunno. I also want to know.

4GB of RAM here, game usually around 2-3GB usage and total memory usage is around 95-98% But I would reccomend at least 6GB.

The game in it's current state is taking up 80-90% of my 8GB of ram.

With all of my mods in singleplayer, my game crashes with 8GB of DDR3. Gets up to 100% of usage and gives up.

I'm usually at 50-60 % after playing for a couple hours with 8gb.
