Rockstar Editor Camera Restrictions
Can anyone explain why the Rockstar Editor won't allow me to edit the camera in my clips? I saved a few during a mission, only to find a warning saying that it doesn't allow camera edits on these clips in the Rockstar Editor. However I don't seem to have problems editing the camera in clips I saved between missions.

I think it goes by the length of the clips. Most videos that I think are 25+ seconds cannot be edited. Could be something else though, but all the ones I have that say that are 25+ seconds.

I'm sure duration isn't a factor. All the clips were under 25 seconds.
Yeah, I've had this happen before. I was trying to get cinematic shots of different moments in missions, but it seems that, for some strange reason, the camera gets locked in those instances. I'm hoping maybe there'd be a mod to override those camera locks, since it doesn't seem like there'd be a reason this would happen.

I've been meaning to contact Rockstar support about it, but I haven't gotten round to it yet. If I find a solution I'll post it here.

It's something to do with some of the ester eggs that are in the map, such as the multiplayer UFO scene somewhere in the swamp. Though the scene in the swamp has an over sized free-cam dead zone, and despite it being exclusively a multiplayer scene, it still has the dead zone applied in single player.

I have a few clips I just recorded in Fort Zancudo, and only one of them says "this clip will not allow camera edits in the Rockstar Editor."

Also, I can confirm that duration of a clip has absolutely nothing to do with this. I have clips spanning over minutes long, and they can be edited without restrictions.

Fort Zancudo is a strange place.

Btw. If you record in 1st person you can not edit camera.
