BAWSAQ dead?
I have reason to believe that the BAWSAQ stock market doesn't work and this is the single player game, not GTA:O since they didn't implement it there on consoles. I've been following prices since release, in both the game and the Social Club website, which is supposed to have updated values. In game the value of the stock has not changed at all, all the values like high/low and %change remain the same. I check on the website and the same value is shown, according to the graphs it has changed, but from playing the X360 version I know that the graphs mean jack-all. Unfortunately, the unofficial BAWSAQ (fan-made) site doesn't yet support the PC version, otherwise it would be an accurate way to see how the prices have changed. I'm sad that I can't make money the same way I did on the X360 version, since it doesn't work. Or am I just stupid and looking at one stock that isn't changing? What has everyone else's experience with BAWSAW been on the PC version. Once it starts to work, I may impart my billionaire stock market wisdom, otherwise there's no point.

There's definitely a problem with the BAWSAQ on PC. I invested in Fruit before the corresponding assassination mission, and waited for the highest price (the top of the curve). When I sold my shares, I didn't make any profit.
Also, the curve and the highest value don't match: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=427726886

Another screenshot that shows that I didn't make any profit with the Fruit shares:

Yeah, I invested into Ammu-Nation and I haven't made any profit or deficit since the PC version was released...

just use the other exchange for now then it does work although it's a bit hit and miss even if you find a company in rapid expantion. after saying that with trevor and a bit of time I made 950,000ish into 1,500,000

Yes, LCN seems to work fine.

The curves in game have never worked or been accurate, even on PS3/X360. Never use the in game curves. The best way is to use the data from the Social Club or the unofficial BAWSAQ website, which doesn't yet support the PC version. Plus its not about selling 'at the top of the curve' with BAWSAQ, that's more of a tactic for the LCN offline exchange. It doesn't change as much as BAWSAQ, so you can't make as much profit. I used it maybe once or twice on the X360 version before making my billions on BAWSAQ. Also this discussion is concerning normal share prices, prices changing due to in-game missions still work as they should .

I've only used bawsaq food the first assassination mission and it worked. Of course the price only went up 49.99% before it started to drop but it did work.

this is a serious problem,we should complaint about this to RockStar somehow.

Well, as you can see on my screenshots, I bought the Fruit shares before the assassination, then waited for several in-game days until the value stopped increasing. I sold all the shares as soon as it started dropping, and I made no profit. So there's clearly a bug with BAWSAQ.

Definitly bugged for me.

Same here. Prices on the BAWSAQ market do not change at all. I invested in Tinkle after getting the tip from the random you pick up and drop off at the Airport. It was the only time Ive ever seen a % change in BAWSAQ since I started playing. There has to be some sort of bug here.

I did the first assassination mission, I did the trades based on the wikia guide, but I've played 10 hours real time, waited like 6 days ingame and the values haven't changed a bit for either of BIL or BET.

All the values of BAWSAQ haven't changed at all for me, since I don't know when. But they must have been moving in the beginning because I bought something that has gone down in value since then, and now I am stuck with that value and can't sell it, or sell it and lose money.

On the "Hotel Assassination" mission my Betta Pharmaceuticals profit stock is limited to 49.99, no matter how many times I save or replay that particular mission! Whats happening??? On consoles the profit rises to 81% !!! IS THERE A WAY TO FIX IT?? I tried the Rockstar page but everytime I try to comment there theres a bug !

Nav - If you reload after doing an assassination mission, the profit gets capped at around half. So the best and only way to make max profit during those missions is to not let it slip by the first time you do it. I read that you should sell exactly 24 game hours after completing the mission. So wait 23 hours and then watch the stock like a hawk. I am not sure if that amount of time counts for all of the missions.. but there are a lot of guides on google about this.

Oh and just to add my 2c.. I too am not seeing any changes to BAWLAQUE
Rockstar have really shafted us with this PC version. To think we had to wait 2 years longer as well. Just proves that they were lying about working on the game. They were obviously paid to keep it exclusive to console for as long as possible.
