Not getting message from lester

I just finished the casing the jewel store mission but i still havent gotten the message from lester, and I can't change character either, the character wheel just doesn't work. so i'm stuck. what do i do?

Well you actually have similar problem with me, different is that I can still change my character. But here I will share what I've done until finally mine was solved:

-First off all you need to contact Rockstar Support about this, then:

-Go tennis with Amanda for 1 set.

-You should complete "daddy's little girl" mission (maybe after that you can change character into Franklin)

-After that you should complete all of Franklin side mission (all of Tonya's mission and race mission)

-Use quick save a few times with no overwrite save.

-Then change your character to Michael then go to LifeInvader then stalk Tracey with Jimmy's computer.

Lester texts me after I stalked Tracey's LifeInvader account. If your problem still occurs try to switch character few times with at least 5 minute play (hanging arround) for each character until Lester texts you. Hope it helps.

Call lester and tell him hes a lazy fat stalker that should do the jobs himself.

i actually just restarted the game, kind of a bummer to have to redo about 6 hours but it worked fine the second time
