GTA5.exe crash fix

Hi.
If you have a problem with APPCRASH or other crashes thats mean there are bad files .
You have to find them using "MD5 checksum tool".

1. Download and instal that program
2. Find your gta5 folder
3. at your GTA5 folder you have files like: x64a.rpf,x64b.rpf etc.
4. open MD5 checksum tool and go to Verify checksum.
5. You have to verify all that file from your gta5 folder one by one.

If any of your file is not equal with control checksum you have to delete them and download again.

you guys are all wrong, delete the folder x64 and the file update.rpf and give it a few minutes to install the corrupted filesand it should work. if not, try this link with all the x64_.rpf's up for mirror download: https://www.reddit.com/r/PiratedGTA/comments/33atsj/can_anybody_upload_some_of_the_x64rpf_files_for_me/

@satriani - just rightclick gtav in steam, properties, local files tab, verify integrity of game cache. Unless something is really wrong with your connection/pc it will download the proper file.

my internet connection is fine, I can play with any other multiplayer online game in my library of steam, before I could play gta 5 with no problem, and now why not?

I dont know, I have next MD5 checksum value in my GTA5 edfbe6855ec32a21a698abc27a899341 and it is not the same as others

- have updated the social club v 1.1.9.6
- I checked the cache of the game 10 times
- I reinstalled the vcredist files and directX several times
- Ccleaner run several times
- I downloaded the game 3 times
- I added the game to exceptions antivirus and antimalware
- I ran the antivirus nod32, run the malwarebytes anti malware and Malwarebyte antirootkit and found nothing out of the ordinary
- I have updated the drivers for my video card and audio also
- I started the OS cleanly
- I reinstalled the OS
- I opened a support ticket with rockstar and sent them an msinfo dxdiag file and the steps did not work I got, and we're still at it
- I dont have installed mods in my game
- I ran the sfc /scannow command and no found errors in my operating system
- I changed the version of DirectX 11, directx 10.1 and directx10 within settings gta 5 game still crashing

You'll have to think long and hard before you can tell me that it started failing without explanation. Something changed. One of the key things people don't think of is OS/driver auto updates - and straight assume that because your gpu drivers are up to date - that they are perfect/working. Not always the case - someone in the last 24 hours fixed his problem by rolling back his gpu driver (trying to find the post now).

Have you tried DDU safemode cleaning and trying an older driver? If everything else you've said is correct then you've covered most of the bases.

Edit - also seeing the non-english in the log - just something of note - did you also install the newest media feature pack from Aug2016 (assuming you are on the new win10 update as well..)

What is newest feature pack from Aug 2016??
