Sticky Key Issue
Alright, so ive gone and looked up whatever I can and i'm stumped. This is more of an annoying issue than really anything game breaking, but if there is a fix i'd like to try it, so here's my problem.

When playing GTA5 i like using a keyboard and mouse, this is the only game i've ever noticed this happening before.

What will happen is while playing, mostly during combat my computer will 'beep' at me, similar to when hitting shift 5 times and the sticky key notifcation comes up. However, this happens when i'm playing normally, i've noticiting it happening especially when using TAB to open the weapon wheel and using the mouse wheel to select a weapon.

I would be suprised if its a "you're hitting too many buttons issue", i have a gaming keyboard and i've play games using more buttons simultaneously before, this is the only game where this happens.

Anyways, when it beeps, my keyboard and mouse basically stop giving instant feedback, for instance i'll be pushing W to move and my character will stand there, i'll LEFT CLICK to aim and my character will immediately start firing and many other issues. This issue persist till I exit the game and come back in.

I've already gone and changed the settings on my mouse and keyboard and sticky keys is definitly turned off.

I hope i've been detailed enough, again i've searched online and haven't found anything, so if there is a setting either in my BIOS, or my computer or in the game that I can change so that this stops happening I would greatly appreciate it. Any tips or advice would be welcome too.

Thank you all for the replies and assist.

Turn sticky keys off. It is a Windows feature, not GTA 5.

Go into the control panel on windows, go to the "keyboard" and make repeat delay - all the way towards long. and repeat rate - all the way towards slow.
Then go to "mouse" and make double click speed - all the way towards slow.
I see you said you checked your keyboard and mouse settings, but are the sliders in the position i typed?
I had the same problem as you but having the mouse and keyboard settings like i wrote above helped remove the problem.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
