These custom drivers change the way the card processes things to be more efficent in certian ways. I got a 10 fps boost just from the switch alone the other 10 fps came from everything else.
Would have thought it would be for all play types.
New Crossfire Profiles for:
Grand Theft Auto V

Galactic Civilizations III
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes

Sleeping Dogs : Definitive Edition
15.4 beta is a peak of what the stable one will be, if you have a single card its not worth installing
AMD Catalyst™ 15.4 Beta for Windows® - Grand Theft Auto V Optimized
This release enables peak driver performance optimization for AMD Radeon™ graphics users in Grand Theft Auto V.
This article provides information on the latest posting of the AMD Catalyst™ Software Suite, AMD Catalyst™ 15.4 Beta.
This particular software suite updates the AMD Catalyst Display Driver and the AMD Catalyst Control Center. This unified driver has been updated, and is designed to provide enhanced performance and reliability.
Edit:
Plus no where other than in that statment did they say in their patch notes exactly what they did to improve the game other than the crossfire profile.
That's why they are called beta drivers, and they do improve performance, both for single gpu/ crossfire users.
Also newsflash, updating GPU drivers always wipes your OC settings.
