Do you mean right from within the Prologue mission ? Because thats happening to me to. I never noticed that back when I had it installed.
I think what they mean is that if its on the "bug autofire", make sure that you try one time to hold down the mouse button as if you weren't firing...then later you stop holding down the mouse button to see if it will somehow stop firing.
I just tried this and it stopped firing. I didn't expect it would work...but I had nothing to lose...
so one thing anyone can try if while you are not holding down any button your weapon is firing...
1. pretend like you are not firing and
2. hold down your mouse button to continuously fire
3. let go of the mouse button after 2-3 seconds and see if it stops firing
For me this worked.
