Automatic weapons shoting from inside the car? How?

I saw players shoting from inside the car with automatic weapons, how is this possible? i cant chose rifle or anything else than pistol when inside car

They probably fired the Micro SMG, which you can fire while in a car.

The AP Pistol also shoots very quickly and is more powerful than the SMG.
That's what you're probably seeing.

You can use pistol, SMG, sawed-off shotgun, and grenades/teargas from car. Mouse-up to change weapons.

Sawed off Shotgun is only on motorbikes iirc.

AP Pistol or Micro Uzi are the only automatics you can fire from your car.

However, if you're in the back seat of a van or helicopter, you can use almost your entire arsenal (AK, Auto Shotty, LMG - Just about everything but RPGs). Also love how lazy they were and didn't bother adding first person weapons in vehicles to anything other than what the driver can use. Anything bigger than the Uzi and it only shows crosshairs with no gun.
