Director mode not available? Help out.

Director mode is greyed out for me strangely, says "Director mode is only available when GTAV Story Mode is running." I am in story mode, though I only finished the second mission (Lamar and Franklin). Why is this happening?

Try leaving your car, since you can't enter director mode while in a car. Otherwise just do 1 or 2 more missions maybe to see if the director mode unlocks then. I cant remember when it unlocked, but it was quiet at the beginning. Btw you can also call the contact Star Agency or something like that to enter director mode.
