post FX?
I don't see a difference between normal and high? Just that with high or higher than that you get the option for motion blur and depth of field? Which I don't care about.

I'm also wondering about this, on Very High though you get a tremendous performance hit, but I honestly can't spot the difference.

for some reason when I turn post FX on it sets textures to normal. do you recommend having textures on high or post fx on high as I can only have one or the other for some reason

I can't spot much difference either. I wish you could actually SEE the game while making adjustments so you can see what's actually being changed :/

Using the high res shadows in the advanced options seems to be a major FPS hit for a small improvement as well.

I believe decreasing the setting from ultra to very high in the post fx settings just tones down the motion blur and bloom effect so its not as in your face. I recommend leaving it on very high since most pc gamers dislike bloom effects anyway.

My source for this is gamersnexus.net

You also get a better quality of motion blur on the higher settings. And you don't get any motion blur at all on normal

So it's mainly for the motion blur and DOF?
