An intel HD 4000 will run the game at 800x600 absolute lowest settings at about 15-30fps.

Maybe lower if you're not on a faster quad core CPU.

If you only have 1GB of RAM though the game will not start

HD4000 is roughly equiv to a Geforce GT 650M

I run it on my 2012 mac pro with no probs whatsoever.
Didn't even need lowest graphics settings.
So yes in my opinion you should be able to run it.

I should note however I run an 8 core.

ANYWAYS, Yes, The HD 4000, assuming you have some kinda decent CPU should be able to pull out Low. I'm not sure on which resolution though. If you can manage something like 1366x768 It should be fine.
